10-year-old gelding looking for the right home With a heavy heart, I am offering my 10-year-old gelding for sale. He is a very sweet, affectionate horse with a big personality and a kind soul. He has experience in show jumping and has been placed in competitions up to 1.00 m. At home, he has jumped courses up to 1.30 m. That said, he is not an easy ride and is therefore not suitable for beginners. When he is not in the mood or feels too much pressure, he can react by bucking or rearing. He is sensitive and does best with a calm, experienced rider who listens to him and rides with feeling rather than force. On the ground, he is an absolute gentleman: very well-mannered, easy to handle, and a real cuddle lover. He enjoys attention, bonds closely with his people, and is a lovely horse to have around the yard. He would be happiest in a knowledgeable home where he can live a quieter life—hacking out, going for walks, enjoying variety, and being someone’s special partner rather than a competition machine. He has very good pedigree and papers, which I am happy to share on request. This is not a quick sale.
